Soroptimist International of Clovis is the Clovis (California) club of Soroptimist International, a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment.

Soroptimist of Clovis achieves this through our women and girl focused programs and financial awards we grant. We are part of an International Organization of nearly 95,000 Soroptimists in almost 120 countries and territories who contribute time and financial support to community-based and international projects that benefit women and girls.

We participate in the “Dream” programs of Soroptimist International of the Americas: “Live Your Dream” Education Awards for Women; and “Dream It Be It” for teens. We are very proud of this impact to local women and girls.

Additionally, we work locally with the Marjoree Mason Center and the Evangel Home, as well as the Salvation Army, Family Healing Center and CUSD Kids in Transition, among many other local projects. We confer a financial scholarship “Women’s Advocate Award” to San Joaquin College of Law.

Our major fundraising event is “Denim & Diamonds”, a dinner/dance with silent and live auctions in the fall, a “Cottage Tea” Awards Luncheon in the spring. We screen LUNAFEST “Films By and About Women”, at the Clovis Mercedes Edwards Theatre… with an on-line option as well! … and more fun events!
